User Interface

A little background

Pet owners see their pets as part of their family, see them as their children, and therefor treat them as such.
They walk, play, feed and wash their pets, take then for their checkups and take care of them when sick. If their pet get’s lost or stolen they do anything in their power to find them, making sure they are safe and sound.

I’ve decided to come up with an app that will help pet owners connect and know their pets better, tracking wise and health wise.

Pair your phone to collar

First thing after logging in is connecting your pet's collar to your phone.

Create pet profile

Creating your pet's profile is crucial for its health, since things such as bread, age, weight and such will help the app detect when your pet is healthy and when not.

Home screen

This is how the home screen looks before setting safe zones and adding tasks. you can see how much battery is left on the collar and when needs charging, and see your pet's well being.

Set A GeoFence

This is not a must, but setting a safe area outside your home, like a garden for your pet to roam freely, will give you an ease of mind to know that the pet is safe, and if leaves the safe zone you will get notified straight away, as also the collar will vibrate teaching your pet not to leave the area.

Set Stay out zone

This is also not a must, but if you would like to keep your pet out of areas in your home, even if only for a short stretches of time this is ideal for you.

Starting with a short on boarding for how to scan your home.

After naming your home scan, there is a short on boarding explaining how to divide your home to rooms.

After setting rooms, it's time to name them and pick which ones you want you pet to stay out of.

Home screen after setting safe zones

Once all safe zones are set, they will appear on home screen, giving you an easy access to putting them off and on.

Below them you can add important tasks that have to do with your pet, which you can add yourself or if the App detects something wrong it'll add it on its own, while also sending you a push message.

Lost dog mode

Track your pet anytime, seeing where he is.

If lost or stolen, put on 'Lost dog mode' and find the shortest way to get to him.

Health

Tracking your pet's health is important. With tracking his moves, temperature and etc. you can notice changes in your dog's behavior and identify issues early as your dog ages.

Furthermore, some pets have a health condition that should be monitored and this can do just that.

Pet profile and more

There are many other functions to the app. From your pet's profile where you can see his weight and etc. and to adding and switching profiles if you have more than one pet.

You can also set the different push messages you can get from app.

Changes in your pet's health

Sometimes your pet doesn't feel that well, and there is no way for you to know, but with the collar 2 things happen:

  1. His state will change on the home page.

  2. You will get a push message on your phone getting your attention as fast as it can.
