Overview
Concept App: Plan your whole trip in the palm of your hand
Challenge
Main challenge is to find a way/ place to book a whole trip in one place. Everything from start to finish.
The second main issue is sticking to budget. It is very hard to keep to budget while planning a trip and remembering how much money is spent where.
Finding all of your tickets in email and keeping track of everything after each part of the trip was booked with a different site or app.
Time consuming while researching for a trip and the frustration and anxiety it can cause.

Research & Analysis:
In my research process, I started with checking out:
-
What platforms people use to book their travels? How many different apps or sites does one need to plan and book a whole trip from A to Z.
-
Do they use their phones or computers?
-
Looking for apps similar to my idea and how they solved the problems I am looking to solve.
-
Conducting interviews via phone and online surveys to find out what unique experience people would like to have when booking a vacation.

Important points to stick to while designing the travel app:
Keep to budget.
Save time and effort.
Make the planning process easier and faster.
Everything is stored offline.
App flow

User Interface
The home page changes according to if the user booked trips once before or not.
First time?
After signing in / skipping they get to a mood screen 'There are places we should go that needs to be seen' with a CTA "Let's go".
Experienced user?
The user is taken to a home page with a list of they're older holidays which they can then press and revisit, or book a new holiday.

Your next 3 screen (steps) are the ones that help us put together the perfect trip:
Step 1
Set your budget, amount of travelers, and of course- your destination. You can leave your destination blank, and we’ll choose one for you according to budget.

Step 2
When would you like to go? Set your dates and let us know about flexibility.
Step 3
Pick the type of things you’d like to do on your trip.
Approving trip
Over view of everything from flights, transportation, accommodations and activities.
Here we’ll need a moment of your time to go through and approve each and every pick the app offers.
When you approve a section it'll change color so you'll know it got approved.

Once approved, you'll be shared with the trip itinerary, divided into days giving you an over view of all the thing's you'll be doing.

Time to pay
Log in if you haven't at the beginning.
Then, you’ll get to the checkout screen which will sum up for you all of your expenses and have you pay them.
Your Itinerary
Itinerary divided by days, and times.
You can read more about each activity and find out what you’ll need to bring with you.

All is stored In addition to your email on the app offline for easy access. You can filter them by days to make it easier for you as well.

If budget is too low, we will let you know and send you back to make some changes
You can share your Itinerary with family and friends on socials
There is an easy access to google maps if you need a rout to get to your activity.

Landing page
A Landing page for the app, explaining about it with downloads for google play and App store.

About the colors
When it came to choosing colors for the app, it was important to consider the overall theme and aesthetic of the app, as well as the target audience.
I wanted calming and soothing colors: Traveling can be stressful, so it was important to use colors that help to create a calming and soothing atmosphere in the app. I wanted it to be associated with serenity, tranquility and safety
To sum this up
Making the process of booking a holiday shorter, easier and anxiety free. Making sure to help the planner keep to budget, keep track of tickets and itinerary. Enjoy your holiday from the booking step.
